背景

拉曼显微镜正日益受到青睐,各企业陆续推出将拉曼与其他技术联用的新产品,以提升样品分析效率。部分产品可实现拉曼与FTIR的同点共位检测,另一些则整合了拉曼与光学或形貌成像技术。通过获取同一检测点的多模态数据,研究人员可做出更明智的决策。

Molecular Vista专注于光诱导力显微镜(PiFM)技术。该技术可同步实现AFM形貌测量与PiFM表面化学分析,其横向分辨率优于5纳米。值得注意的是,这些PiFM仪器还支持其他光学AFM成像技术,如拉曼光谱(RS)或光致发光(PL)检测。

IR PiFM能提供超越任何技术的红外分辨率。然而根据样品特性,红外光谱并非总是最优选择:例如红外光谱虽可有效探测分子振动模式,但对金属样品分析效果有限。此外,PiFM虽通过力测量完美检测光子吸收过程,却无法将拉曼与光致发光等光子发射过程转换为力信号进行探测。
